That’s what I’m trying to find out is it normal ? Can it be adjusted?

I'm going to assume you have a classic, external master/slave cylinder combo with a clutch fork and not a htob. Flushing your clutch fluid is not going to fix the problem, but it will tell you if the pedal itself is somehow binding up. I just flushed the clutch fluid on my ERA this weekend and I can tell you with absolute authority that if your slave cylinder bleeder screw is open then you can push the clutch pedal to the floor with two fingers (I actually use a broomstick). If the clutch pedal is hard to push, even with the bleeder screw open, then there is something binding up on the pedal linkage. If the pedal goes down to the floor nice and easy, and there is no binding up with the linkage between the slave and the fork, then the likelihood is good that the pressure plate is extra heavy. That's a relatively easy fix, but you'll have to yank the transmission off the engine and pull the bellhousing off. On an ERA, that's an afternoon job as you don't have to pull the engine. I don't know on a Backdraft, but just ring up blykins and ask him what sort of clutch he would recommend. Anyway, that's how I would diagnose it.
