Default Temperature

I am in NJ and the car will not see the outside for a few weeks yet. There have been other threads where people have stated there was a slight temp increase but nothing drastic. I just finished the oil thermostat so I will probably run it in a day or so.

I've always used stainless steel mesh on race cars, Pricy, but it looks excellent. The Nomex looks very nice.

And what exactly are you protecting the radiator from? I can see if you were running the Baja 1000, but these are just street and track cars. On the other hand, I have pusher fans so that's kind of like a radiator protector.

Real radiator protectors have blades.

Default Kind of protects?

That might be good for you but not for me. I have pushers also but the stones still get through. It's kind of surprising these cars don't come from the manufacturer with radiator protection.

Default Big stone

Big stone hits your radiator right in the black circle. Bye bye radiator...you don't need to be on the track or Baja for that to happen.
