It's more than just a car. The events, cruises, new friendships, experiences are priceless.
If you want to win car shows you get a pretty one. If you want to go to the track pretty gets beat up. Think of it more like a boat...a hole to throw money into. Except when you sell it's a sad day not a happy day.

Sounds like a scam to me.
When a roller comes from the factory for $53k I don't think it's far-fetched to ask $75-80k.
Some of these people are too much with the this-vs-that BS between manufacturers. Fudds aren't only in the 2A community apparently.
Go find one that you like and drive the piss out of it.

When comparing Backdraft values, please be sure the preowned is an RT4 and not RT3. There are plenty of RT3s out there rarely used. Big value difference.
From our experience preowned Cobras of all makes are selling for premium value due to the scarcity of new Backdrafts and Superformance.

Here’s a new “kit” from South Africa. It just arrived from where it was finished in the USA.
I was told close to $200 K to get it where it’s at. No milage, “special engine”, all the options.
It’s in storage as an investment. It won’t be driven he wouldn’t open the hood worried about paint chips...I’ve got less in my Classic Roadsters then what this paint job cost. A friend sent me the photo, I’ll find out if it’s BD or SPF when I go check it out. Maybe CSX?

Financing in Wash state?
Hi. Any Superformance owners in Washington state who have financed part of the purchase? Does WA state title this as a 1965 or a 2025 auto? Im finding this will affect interest the rate for financing. Thanks

Go to semasan.org and look at the "tag and title" tab and you can look up how your state does the registration.
Most lenders will not finance a "Cobra" as they have no way to value the car and thus place NO collateral value on the car. Specialty lenders like Astralease, JJ Best, etc. do assign value to the cars and will do a loan or a finance lease on a Cobra.
