I'm a little confused here. The OEM clutch fork (for 84+ Mustangs) uses a clutch cable and pulls the end of the fork forward (towards the front of the car). This pulls the T/O bearing forward sine the fulcrum is a ball at the other end of the clutch fork.
However, I thought the clutch slave cylinder in the BDR pushes the end of the clutch fork. If the slave cylinder is mounted on the BH flange (similar to the picture below, however this is an FE fork which has the fulcrum in between the T/O bearing and the outer end of the fork), wouldn't it move the fork back (toward the rear of the car)? If so, how does this work with an OE Mustang fork?

What do I have confused here?
