Anything can be made to fit in these cars. I made my Toploader (the linkage)fit in my car by notching the frame and rewelding the notched portion with heavy steel. It dosn't mater how long or short your transmission is, you just make the driveshaft to fit. Don't move your trans./ engine. Also, there are three different lenghts of Toploaders, 25 1/2", 24" and 27". The 24" was for Cobra's, but the others could work just fine. If you already have a long trans. and if it needs to be rebuilt, it can be made into a 24" model.
