Brake reservoir heat shield

I have ceramic coated headers and wraped them with header wrap. It is still to hot, and I cook my brake master cylinder fluid. I seem to have the most trouble when the car sits idleing, without air flow. Jay's shield should work well. I would also be interested in one should they go into production.

Jaybar, I would get that header tape off your pipes. I believe you will ruin the ceramic coating.

I am considering making a stainless steel shroud that would maybe match the surrounding engine compartment. Since it is radiant heat you just need to deflect it. Maintaining an adequate air space where air can move through the space is the most important.
