Default Bug Screen for your Backdraft

Thanks for everyone who has ordered a bug screen. I am making up 20 more because the first ten went so fast. I'm working on a oil cooler equiped screen and a oil cooler screen.

Pretty good. Are you using black mesh or painting typical screen door material? We get requests for something along these lines but stronger to stop "birds".

Bugscreen for a Backdraft? Sounds like a fair trade.

Jay, we are using the pet screen. with the frame and screen away from the radiator we have approx. 3/4" clearance from the screen to the radiator. It will stop the smaller rocks but nothing will stop a 60mph marble size rock coming in. The screen is pretty impressive, they took a pencil and tried to poke thru it, it stretched but it didn't allow the pencil to completely go thru it. Sold me on it.

Bill,

How does the screen attach to the radiator? Is the hardware included?

Thanks,

Secret Squirrel,
I'm keeping the attachments as simple as possible. They attach to the radiator support and not the radiator. For now I'm using velcro in the corners. It doesn't weigh much so it doesn't need too much support.

Default Bug screen

I have a Cardiac Cobra and would like one of these screens. I need to know the dimensions of the one you sell to see if it will fit my 4" thick Alum. radiator.

Thanks,

Paul
