Mark, you can also get a rebuild kit for the Wilwood Slave cylinder at Summit Racing:

It's fairly easy to rebuild.

My Wilwood came apart twice, both times on the track. After the first failure I used locktite, but I think the brake fluid go to it.
I replaced the Wilwood with an almost identical product but at half the price form Speedwaymotors.com. The rod is "peened" to the piston.

Well today my linkage snapped (threaded stud that connects to the clutch fork) Was wondering and maybe you can answer this Mark Brye if I have to take apart the slave cylinder or can I just unscrw the rod and put a new grade 8 stud in it's place

Guys, try the HOWE Racing slave. I replaced two Wilwood slaves with this one and have not had a problem since.

I think I would take apart the slave cylinder. If you just take the rod out, and put thread lock on it, you may get threadlock on the seals. Also, you will not be able to keep the cylinder from sliping in the slave housing when tightening the rod. I would also buy the summit rebuilt kit if you have the Wilwood Slave. I think its like 13 bucks. Then you will have new seals and will not have to worry about any leaks in the near future. Hope I am understandable, had a few drinks

If you need a Wilwood rod, I will mail my old one to you. Rod looks in good shape. Just the seal went bad in the slave cylinder housing.

well I broke the same rod, so I am going to try to get a good grade 8 stud and that should solve the current problem
