Do your own homework. Also keep in mind since I am no longer in that business, I have nothing to gain or lose.I do know of several "non water based suppression system" dealers who wish Coldfire would go away as it hurts their business model.

Is this stuff any better than plain old Halotron? I went to the web site, but sometimes it's hard to tell crap from gold around here.

That depends on what you are using it in. Halotron and any other gas based system depletes a fire of oxygen, in an enclosed area this works, in an open cockpit automobile such as the Cobra, it does not. Again will one work better than the other, yes, but it depends on the environment they are installed in (as an example: a computer room where a wet system would not work well as it would damage the electrical systems).

I am by no means an expert on this, but have sold both systems in the past and now prefer the Coldfire systems for my personal use race vehicles.
