July 10 BBQ at Denbeste Motor Sports
All,
Dembeste Motorsports has invited BACC, NorCal Shelby and VMOA (Vintage Mustang Owners Association) to their place in Santa Rosa on July 10 for a BBQ. Here's a link to info on the event Denbeste BBQ Bill and his staff have a great collection of 80+ cars and put on a great BBQ. We were hosted by Denbeste last year and it was a great day. While I'm sure they have some nice cars up there, and I'm all for a "free" barby, I do have some concern about their vehicle classes. So I presume Cobras get to enter Class "P- / Crown Vic/ Marauder/ Other____________________________________". Eh? :eek: Rich

All,
I sent out a notice to everyone on "BACCEVENTS" email list yesterday, so far it looks like about 10 cars from BACC. We plan on leaving from Rockhouse on Sat. AM after breakfast and it should take about 1 1/2hrs to get to Denbeste which means we'll arrive just in time for lunch :) . Denbeste has asked me for a count so they can be prepared for lunch so if you are planning on going please let me know so I can pass along the count to Denbeste. I've not seen any responses from our North Bay group via email. We went to Denbeste on one of our breakfasts, so I think most of our group have been there already. But thanks for the invitation. |
The North Bay group is having their monthly breakfast on Sunday; don't see why they can't unless, due to proximity, they've been there a lot as mentioned above. But no loss.... VMOA will be there I'm sure, in large numbers. :D

Update,
I've heard back from about 14 folks that have said they are coming Sat. so it looks like we will have a respectable showing from BACC up at Denbeste. A group will be leaving from Rockhouse at about 8:30 (after breakfast). See ya, Mike |

Great pic Herman! I went to Denbeste when the BACC group visited last year. Lots of cool cars. SO much freeway driving that I passed this year. Who knew they were going to have a surprise guest. :)
