Krikey Seats In A BACC Car ?
Anyone in the Bay Area have a Krikey 41V Series - Vintage Class Bucket Seat, with the Vinyl seat cover in their car?
Looking to go with one in my ERA, and have been advised to try one on for size, so to speak. From what I understand, the seats tend to run a bit large, when ordered per the measurement instructions on the Krikey website.

Or ... is there a local source that might have one in stock? I looked on the Krikey website and see that the closest dealer is Summit Racing in Sparks NV.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I had one in my 1966 GT350 and now finishing new Cobra had one to put in but ended up selling it as it was too tight for me. The Kirkey seat came with the car I bought and was a 16. They come in 15, 16, 17 and 18 and although the 16 probably would of been ok if I was racing all the time I really needed a 17 for driving on the street. The measurement is across your bottom and was told by Kirkey to sit on the floor with your side facing a wall and put a 2X4 on your other side and measure the distance. My measurement was 17. Cool seat and they really hold you in....http://kirkeyracing.com/index.php?li...code=Series41V

FYI..don't know if there is an interest, but I have a Ken Miles alum racing seat that I would consider selling. I had it made from Steve Sunshine (from this forum ) for about $600.

Kramer,

I am not familiar with a Ken Miles seat, how does it differ from a Krikey seat? |

I don't know how to post a pic BUT check out this thread as it has a lot of pictures of the custom seat. These seats where the ones the drives used back in the day with one exception in that the new ones like mine are made of nice aluminum vs the old fiberglass.Ken Miles Alloy Comp Seat Special |
