Someone needs to talk to the producer and reconsider Josh Brolin as CS, not Cruise.

I agree but the vast majority of people have no clue who Shelby was hence enter Tom Cruiser as the money draw.

La Cobra,
I respectfully disagree. No one knew about Lauda vs. Hunt. What we are really overlooking here is the director. We need Ron Howard to pull this movie off. Yes, I would love to see Brolin play Shelby, but actors are overrated, Cruise doesn't have the draw he once had, in my humble opinion.

lol, actors are overrated? Yeah, we go to movies to see directors. smh.
Without Tom, there would be no Shelby movie.
Josh Brolin could not open up a tin can, much less a hollywood movie.
Tom's appeal is world wide. Add Brad Pitt (rumored to be cast) and you're winning movie investors, studio bosses, movie fans, and box office receipts.

Morgan Freeman! Couldn't be any worse than Tom Cruise.
