I'm done! I went to the BAR smog referee today, took about 45 minutes start to finish. That was a no-brainer, except the guy who drove my car initially hit the rev limiter while trying to hit the brake. Twice. The guy in charge must have seen the panicked look on my face, as he told the guy behind the wheel to turn off the engine and get the hell out of the car.
After that, back to the DMV. Ran into a Superformance owner in the parking lot, spent about 15 minutes or so oggling each others cars. Those are some really nice cars too.
The DMV took about another half hour or so. I left with plates.
At no time were any lights inspected, brakes, reverse (which I don't have), or otherwise.
