I was talking to some guys this weekend, and was told (I have not officially confirmed this) that the BAR cannot smog a 1965 block with either multi-point ignition or multiple carbs. This would mean that a 1965 block with either multi-point ignition or multiple carbs would be "smog exempt".

Worth researching...
