 Gio,
Okay, you talked me into it. Dipsea for breakfast it is. Yahoo maps says it'll take about an hour to get there from Livermore. Shall we plan on leaving from Athens at about 7:00?

 Tom,
Sadly my schedule will no longer allow Marlene and I go join the fun. I was tentative at best anyway as I'm having my gall bladder removed tomorrow morning, so it's almost better to know for sure that we are not going.

CJ428CJ Chris, 7:00am departure from Athens sounds good to me. Anyone else in the east bay is welcome to join the "cobra-caravan" if they'd like.
dlang14 Daryl, I wish you the best with your operation.

Good news Mark, Lets meet as per Rich's location. Big parking lot in Cupertino at De Anza Boulevard and Homestead Road just a block north of 280 (N/W corner, by Goodyear and PW Super). We'll leave there for Dipsea at 6:45.
 Tom H.

Mark,I think the correct address is (Goodyear Auto Svc Ctr, 10931 N De Anza Blvd, Cupertino, CA 95014) if I read Rich's directions right, although Goodyear would be on the S/W corner not the N/W corner. What's the PW Super?

 Well,
Good news is that I got the engine back in the "MQNSTER" over the holiday.( it's been a long summer w/o a Cobra)http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/mdvmon...cd.jpg&.src=ph
however, I still have quite a bit left to do before it's ready for a long trip, so it's very doubtful that we'll make it to EOS . We'll possibly be ready for Blackhawk and definately ready for Snakes........................

Currently we have about 20 cars confirmed for the Run. If you have not advised of your attendance, please do so ASAP. Looks like breakfast at the Dipsea should be for about half the people - the others, please be prepared to depart by 9:30 with a full tank of gas (Mapquest says the drive from Mill Valley to Bodega Bay and then to Petaluma is 91± miles).
Good news, I have managed to get a short drive on Mr. Keller's track when we depart, subject to a waiver signed by those drivers interested in doing so. Needless to say, we won't be driving anywhere near race speeds but should be fun nonetheless. Also, FWIW, the winery also sells Olive Oil in addition to their wines.

Please stay posted on the weather for the trip. Typical summer pattern is expected so bring something warm for the drive along the coast.

 Ok Tom,
I've got it............If you can get some volunteers who will agree to pushme around the track I think I can make it to EOS .......seriously, great job in organizing this event especially considering the difficult scheduling concerns. I'm sure this will be an outstanding Cobra day , I truely wish we could join in.......... |

 Tom
Not sure if I am still on your list or not. If not please count me in as a solo.
Will catch the group in Mill Valley.

 Thanks for organizing this event.

Sorry, Tom is correct: The shopping center (Goodyear, RiteAid and PW Super (grocery store) are on the S/W corner of De Anza and Homestead. I was just checking to see if you were paying attention. Big parking lot in front of Goodyear and RiteAid. We should *leave* at 6:45 AM. Since I am fuel tank capacity and mileage impared, I plan on going about 65 MPH. Will that be too slow for you Big Dogs? By the way, as we take the turnoff to Highway 1/Stinson Beach, the road will wind around to the right and go over a small bridge; Dipsea is immediately on the right. Rich |

 Rich,
It isn't that far to the cafe. 65mph is slow . We will put one car infront of you to draft off, and one behind to push. Also, stop at the 76 down the street from big dogs for the 100 octane gas.
