Hey David, whatcha doing up in the S.F. Bay Area forum???? Just messin' with you. Glad you got your SPCN number. Your little "adventure" made for some good visuals.

BTW: I never waited in line that long. I got there at 7:30AM last year and still got my number. I think by-and-large, most everyone get's a number; nobody so far, has said they didn't. I think due to both forums being well informed, allows "Cobra" builders/owners to get their numbers w/o any major issues.

When I got mine 3 or 4 years ago (whenever the first go around was) in San Jose, the CHP officer let me use the Midstates chassis number for my VIN- and applied a smog exempt sticker on the frame.
Worked great as the VIN is stamped on my frame. Three renewals and no problems- Might have helped that he owns a '65 GT350 !!!
