Thanks Doug,
Here's a shot taken through the window of the paint booth. The stripes are now on and the clear coat will be shot tomorrow. Right on schedule to be back on the road this weekend.

The Cobra is out catching some rays today.
Later this afternoon it will get buffed and tomorrow I will spend the day putting it back together, so no Rockhouse but I hope to be out and about on Sunday.

Looking good Chuck! You've got yourself a new car!
BTW - I like the new color. It seems a little darker/deeper.

Herman,
Are you going up to Rockhouse on Saturday? The early hour is a KILLER from Santa Cruz. Who knows, I might be crazy enough to get up and go
With the price of gas, it's only a $75 pancake breakfast.

I didn't break anything. Just a bunch of stuff I've wanted to do. So I figured if I put it up on jack stands and take all the wheels and brake rotors off, I will have to get all of it done.
I just finished having my guys modify the rear coil over mounts. Mine weren't bent, but they were at an 80 deg angle instead of 90 deg to the frame. I also pulled all my rotors and had them turned since one or two were slightly warped. Next I have to pull my clutch pedal and re drill the center hole for a bigger pin. Mine was a bit worn out. And, change rear end oil, throttle springs, front wheels bearings and seals since its apart, rear axle nuts since I have the old crap ones, and about four or five other little things.

I know. I should take the tank out and get that done to, but I think I'll wait for winter on that one.
Make sure you guys with the SPF's check the rear shock mounts. VERY IMPORTANT!

Scott - What caused the change in the angle of the mounts? Were they loose or just stress over time? You gotta stop beatin' your car up on track day.

There is only two little 10mm bolts holding them on. There is really no way for two bolts to hold them where they should be. There has been some posting on the SCOF site about failure!!
