I still have an article of his cross country trip from Hawaii (shipped to port of Oakland.) to Atlanta Motor Speedway and back to Sunnyvale. The year was 1995. The car at that time was a MidStates Classic Cars Cobra, also black. The motor was a modified 351C (the article points out it was a Cleverland.)
The highlight was visitng MidStates Classics to pay homage, and a chance to hit the track at Atlanta. Of course it was a cross country to and from (Traveler would be very proud of both Kei and Miki) so taking in the sights must of been great!
They completed 10,232 miles on this trip. I wonder if he kept that car or not.
If you guy's are interested (any 1st Sat. of the month Breakfast runs again?), I"ll bring the article to breakfast. Of couse if you're heading to the San Leandro Marina for the kit car show, I'll understand if there are no takers! I'll bring the article and ask Kei about his adventures!
