I had a great time this weekend at the Monterey Historic races. I found a really cool wall mural of the Daytona coupes being assembled at the airport in LA in 65. After I purchased it I ran into Peter Brock. He went out of his way to come over and Autograph it for me...How Cool is That!!!!. What a great guy and I think he Really enjoyed it as he spent twenty minutes telling me the history of the picture and what was going on when it was taken. It was something I'll never forget!. He also Autographed my WSCB shirt!

I, too, got to spend a little time with Pete, and Bondurant as well. It's too bad that most of the Shelby's that were scheduled to be there did not show. The original entry list had 7 Cobra roadsters, 1 Cobra Daytona, 4 GT40s, and 2 AC bristols. All I could find were 3 roadsters. BUT, spending a little time with Pete, his wife Gayle, and "Bondo" made it all better.
Here's a few pics from Saturday..

DTurnbull, very nice job with those pics. Thanks for sharing!
Greg - Very cool piece you picked up there. The autograph was just icing on the cake. Now you just need to get Shelby to sign it right beside Pete's signature.
