Paul, It looks like you have a rear seat in your car. Padded upholstery behind the buckets. Am I imagining things?

Paul,

The original type arms come from Enzo (Finishline). If you ever want to change just remember where the arm(s) bend, the may need 'tweaking" to fit your LA.....and then again they may not!

MaSnaka,

I think the flash picture adds a lot of depth to the shot. That is a padded, upholstered panel directly behind the seats. The stitching matches the seats, which may give the illusion that it is a bench seat back there. But no, there isn't any seats back there.

Cobra Make, Engine: Classic 427, I purchased it May 2005, the kit was bought in 1991. I'm not sure when it was completed! Installed GMPP Connect & Cruise 376/525 with T-56 S/M 3.55 gears about 2 years ago! 1/4 miles is with old setup!

Government!

Way back in the Jimmy Carter years they did a law saying motorcycles (85 speedos as well) had to have a gear indicator. The bike companies stamped the shift pattern into the engine side cover down by the shifter. What get off at 80 mph to see if you were in 3rd or 4th?

Brainless FOOLS!

As this is a wiper thread, can someone tell me the thread size for the hex nut that holds the wiper mechanism to the body? I have everything except the hex nut. They are the same setup that Finishline sells I think.

Edit: 5/8-24 panel nut.

Uhh, I was going to complain about the little Braille bumps on the drive-thru automated teller keys at my bank.

I hate it when people ask "is this one of those kit cars?" I say no, it's a replica. A kit car you can buy in the hobby store and you put it together with that glue you liked to sniff when you were a kid. This car required real tools and many hours of work to build it!!

My pet peeve: all the numbers on my old socket sets have gotten much smaller and harder to read! So I had to get bifocals. It was cheaper than replacing all the sockets with the new laser etched larger numbers. Tuff getting old!

My pet peeve??! People who ask if it's real. I've had my SPF for 7 years and I bet I've been asked that 7000 times. Went on a 3000 mile road trip this summer all over the west from Canada to Wyoming and more and was asked this dozens and dozens of times. Even had one jackass ask me if my wheels were real Halibrands. He baited me with the question and I said yes. He says...no they're not, I say yes they are.... he says....no they're not. All this going on while I'm cleaning the car off in front of the motel after a long day of driving. Finally I said, look the wheels are made by Trigo and are Halibrand replicas. He says. yeah I know, my wife owns Halibrand. F'in smartass then tells me how nice my car is. Just another layer on top of my pet peeve. Maybe I oughta buy an original and say it's a replica when asked if it's real.
