Needed Side Pipe Flange spacer

Just checking...is this a new build? are you sure; A. the headers are on the right side?
B: you have used the correct motor mounts and have them in correctly?

This problem making up or shortening the exhaust route a full 3/4" is usually a sign of one of the above?

I am doing a rebuild. The original builder was less then a craftsman! I can not explain why the one side is cut and welded short. A .75 spacer places the side pipe exactly where it should be. Right now the pipe is a little high and very close to the lower front fender. I loosened up everything and moved it out .75 inches. It looks like it belongs there
