Cobra Make, Engine: Classic 427, I purchased it May 2005, the kit was bought in 1991. I'm not sure when it was completed! Installed GMPP Connect & Cruise 376/525 with T-56 S/M 3.55 gears about 2 years ago! 1/4 miles is with old setup!

Default Anyone know any thing about these?

Anyone know any thing about these?
They have them for Fords as well but of course they produce less power and cost more!

Cool factor and price ($2500.00 complete) are both a 10! Individual runner systems like this are known for their throttle response.

On the down side it's made by Pro Comp, I can't find much information on it and it's only good to around 5500 rpm!

With the new cam my little SBC should be able to pull close to 7,000.

I think you'd have to be a masochist to try to use Pro Comp garbage for something as finicky as an 8TB EFI system. Some of the best engineered systems on the market are difficult enough to get the tune right and to balance each cylinder. Imagine trying to do that with parts that are porous and poorly machined...

Thank you 750! You took the words right out of my mouth. Lightingrod, go to the FFR forums, see if Wayne Presley is still around. Wayne sells an awesome 8 stack computerized system. Course it's only around 10K!

Like I said "On the down side it's made by Pro Comp"!

As to the tuning it might not be to bad since it has a Common vacuum Plenum? I missed a local deal on a never installed Inglese Weber setup a few months back! Wow I have not tuned Webers in 25 years. Last ones was on a 1973 911, (40IDA3C)

Agree.

I would also only use 4 twin barrel throttle bodies with idle air bypass screws for balancing, versus that crap 8 individual stack.
Too many gaskets, too many parts, "weak as" linkage/balance levers etc.

In the review they said the linkage was "Rock Solid"! The problem with Mags & TV shows is that you don't know if their goal was to give you the real story or to sell ad space!
