Getting closer....

Received my Specially Constructed Vehicle (SPCNS) certificate of sequence in the mail today. I then made an appointment with the DAR to see the smog referee on 8/13. At this rate I should get everything done just about registration time next year!!! ARGH!

As far as the Cobra goes...the shop is giving it a thurough shake down and replaced the battery 2 days ago. Unfortunately the new battery is already dead....hmmm. The shop has done nothing else to the car and wasnt driven in the last 2 days......any thoughts on the cause?

Hi DV,

I wouldnt think it was the ignition switch, if it was, wouldnt the origional battery that was in the car have died during the 4-5 days it took to transport the car from Nevada to San Diego. I also had the car for a couple of days (before it went into the shop) and the battery didnt seem to loose a charge.

Thanks for info, any other thoughts?
