I got a question in the same area. I purchased the coil-over suspense setup from CR-II in 2006 (I think), kit is from 1991! When I installed the coil-overs it had 355 SBC iron heads/block and 700R-4. The ride and handling was good! Later went to SBC 388 with aluminum heads, still good! Awhile back I went to all aluminum LS-3 and T-56 S/M, the front is a bit higher but really STIFF!

I seem to remember the coil-overs were QA1? The shocks and front springs are not-adjustable. Anyone have any information on the coil-over kits from that time period?

I have QA1 single adjustable on my car, albeit a WCC car, not CR. Regardless, if I were to do it again I'd probably go with Viking - they give you double adjustable shocks and coilovers for about the same price as QA1's single adjustable.

Both of them have good technical support that will make recommendations as to the most appropriate products for your application.
