Default who relocated their fuel cap?

One of the things I want to do is relocate the fuel cap to the fender and recess it. Is there a fiberglass kit or pocket I can buy to do it or am I going to have to fabricate it up? Does anyone know the dimensions and measurements of it and where to place it on the fender?

Kevin,
DV aka Double Venom had a fiberglass mold made for that. I haven't seen him post in quite awhile so I don't know where he is at. You might find some of the info you need if you look him up. He was never shy about posting his phone number so you could try and reach out to him if it still works.

Yeah I dug that out of some deep diving. I asked him a long time ago about acquiring one. He never got back to me. I had heard he was no so active anymore. The biggest thing I noted was the locating notch.

Default I did mine

I bought the inset from DAX cobra they’re located in Belgium the part was so cheap but the shipping was double the cost of the part to the US I thought it was well worth it under $125 total . Have them invoice you and pay with pay pal
so you can illuminate any extra currency charges it might be cheaper than 125
