No problem filling my CR gas tank with fill pipe going in the middle. Mine is vented from the top of the tank with a hose that connects to the fill pipe near the fuel cap. It has a Lemans style gas cap in passenger fender that has an OEM type fuel cap under it.

Emptying the tank isn't a problem either. Just keep the loud pedal aggressively pressed and the fuel level goes down quickly...but the occupant fun meter also goes up in this condition as well.
