I went with the lever down under which works fine.
You can't see it and I don't have anything in the
trunk on a constant basis, so I am not worried
about the lack of security. To date, nobody has
asked where the trunk handle is, and when
raising the lid I just lift on the bottom edge of
the lid. I was going to use an electric actuator
like I used on the doors but as much as I use
the trunk decided to go with the KISS system.
