Drive Shaft Loop??

Hey Don,

I've read a few threads about broken DS yokes under power and got an ugly image of what might happen to me if that happened!!

Do you have a loop for our cars and if so will you need the chassis number or have they remained the same through the years??

jack, the way the rear tunnel for the emergency brake is setup it will act as a driveshaft loop towards the top of the car. If you want to you can add a strap between the frame rails under the driveshaft to keep it from dropping to the ground.

Thanks Don......I'll take a look at it!!

I was thinking that if the rear U-Joint broke the shaft would likely just fall out but if the front one broke it could flail around and possibly come through the tunnel??
