Default Oil Filter

I did not use the remote oil filter adapter. Decided that I could change the plumbing later. I have no trouble changing oil with the filter on the block. You just need a shorter filter to clear the frame. I believe these all qualify:
Bosch 3321
Fram PH7328
STP B57328
They all have the following: OD 3.66", Length 3.09", thread ¾-16 tpi.
Mobile one used to make a compatible filter of this size M1-109, but not readily available at the local auto parts store.

As for trimming the ends of the dash to fit the body. I just kept trimming until the dash would fit into position without compression or springing it into postion. Just remember that the dash covering will take up some room as it needs to wrap around the edges.

Default dash wing

I am also wondering about these dash "wings" that need to be cut. Mine have been cut by the previous owner. Not sure how to proceed. Any help would be great. Thank you jay
