Hi all. Found this forum browsing for information on Cobra Kit cars. I currently do not have one, but it has been a lifelong dream to build one. I will probably be mostly lurking and reading, but I love reading about them and seeing what others have done.

I recently talked with a few friends about what kind a motor I would like to put in my Cobra when that day arrives. I thought I would like to be a purist, but realized I like modern technolgy too much. The subject of throwing an LS 427 block in came up. It got me wondering how many other people have done that, and that led to my internet search, and to this forum, so I signed up.

I currently am, have always been, and will probably always be, a bike nut. I own a 2007 Yamaha R1 and a 2003 Yamaha FZ1. So you can understand why the Cobra kitcar appeals to me so much. Lightweight and able to stuff gobs of horsepower under the hood! What more could one ask for?

Anyway, I look forward to seeing the rides and reading all the good info on here. Hopefully it won't be too long before I can post pics of my own Cobra up here.
