That is a great car with a beautiful color combo.
I have a tip for you, a very serious tip. This is very similar to my own experience in acquiring mine but there is one critical thing you must do. This is a high performance car and even with lots of experience you may or may not have you must assume nothing.
By this I mean before you really get out there and enjoy it, repeat BEFORE, get it up on stands with the wheels off and from one end to the other, go through all the running gear, suspension, brakes, axles, front, back, middle, and made damned sure everything is tightened to spec and secure. Go through everything and paint mark everything for reference.
This will insure no unexpected surprises, some of which can destroy your investment and yourself.
Remember these are hand built cars, that bounce, vibrate, and may still be subject to human error.
It's cheap insurance and a great way to get to know it in detail.

Just a beautiful car and congratulations. Welcome aboard!
I agree with all comments above as far as checking it underneath, tires and taking it easy to learn the car.
For tires, AVON all the way!

Awesome ride!!! Plenty of good advice listed above. Once you feel you have done a proper overall check of your ride and you feel a little bolder. You might consider taking your ride to a very large parking space & get a feel for the break loose points on your car. As in take off's, stopping, cornering, etc. It will be a good way to use up those ice skates you now have on your ride. Yes, new rubber will handle different than burning up the bfg's. But you will get a real feel of what you have before the new rubber goes on! Good luck and !

WELCOME TO THE ADDICTION THERE IS NO CURE!!!

Simply outstanding! I am sure it was well worth the wait.
