Jim,
To quote Mr. Joel..."You may be right, I may be crazy" and/or "You may be wrong for all I know, but you may be right"

....I'm just thinking of the horror of lifting the hood and getting my reflection back at me from half a dozen mirror-finished panels. Enough to drive a man to another beer

Here's cheers!
Glen

That has always been a short drive for me. Here's cheers to you as well.

I've covered making/installing a footrest elsewhere in a separate thread.
I'm adding the 'result' here as well to include it in the build thread...

Nice to be here again

Been working on my front inner guards.
I thought this would be easy but I think the panels supplied were to suit the profile of 427 guards, so long story short, it took a long time, and only the left side so far.

Here the outer view....

Excuse the multiple posts. Can't work out how to attach more than one picture and have explanatory text in between. Is there a way?

Anyway, the rear panels for the inner guards ....I won't be fitting until after the exhaust is fitted. Those two panels (ie L+R) were obviously made to suit 427 guards/fenders as the profile is much different and will need considerable reshaping.

Cheers,
Glen

Yes they do need reshaping and a pain to install with the body on.

Cheers

Thanks Patrick. I left my finger prints there (#200), so no doubt as to who was responsible for the 'grandness'

Cheers!
