I do like the double walls on the output of those headers. It should be easy to keep those from leaking. I'm always chasing an exhaust leak on my ERA slip fit connections.

Slightly off topic, why a top loader vs a Tremec 5 speed?

He's using a top loader bell housing for clearance, not a top loader. Take a look at the transmission, it looks nothing like a top loader.

yes I using the top loader bell housing so I can use the Kirkham clutch setup.

You can use the Kirkham setup on a QT. Needs a little fab and not a problem when apart. McCluskey did mine.

I had this custom made for the CSX build... with my manifold there will be no room for the traditional expansion tank. This is the thermostat housing. I also had a custom expansion tank made, it will be here any day now.

I went through the same process as you are to get the morrison injection installed.
I remember the distributor I bought still didn't clear the injection runner, so the guy that machined up lots of my parts made one from scratch.
It just clears.
You may have more room because my motor is a 347.

very nice build, how long did morrision take to deliver? I had to ship my block and heads to him for a mockup, I sent my stuff im May of 2019, he is estimating end of april for a completion. this will be one year.

What ECU are you using for your Car? Morrision make amazing manifolds. The one he is making for me is the only one he has ever done for FE.

Steve took about four months to deliver the injection manifold.
He contacted me nearly a year later to tell me he had started making
the air filters for the stacks.
At the time, I bought a Motec ECU because it was "the best", but switched to a Autronic SM4 when Motec wanted fees to unlock parts of the computer I needed to run my fuel injection system.
Things are probably different now, that was years ago.
I was lucky in that when my car was being tuned, the guy who designed the computer happened to be in town and worked with my tuner on a Sunday afternoon before he flew out that evening.

wow 4 months i wish... it will be north of a year for mine... I think it because of starting from scratch for the FE motor... My friend here in CA has one in his pantera... a true work of art...the photo I will post is in my friends pantera.

it took a lot of work to get it running properly.
The car always had a habit of hunting, especially when going around roundabouts not accelerating, and when trying to stick to one speed.
If you were accelerating it wasn't a problem.
First issue is that I bought a MSD alternator which starts charging at around 1600 RPM.
The tuner told me the alternator had to start charging from idle and up through the rev range for him to be able to tune the car properly.
The alternator in the pictures is the new one which is a Ford unit.
It looks like an easy swap but it took a lot of work.

The other thing the tuner wanted was to replace the wheel the accelerator cable attaches to with one that was a snail shape.
It was a hell of a job to get the design of the snail right, which was a little know how and some luck. Once made, I can't begin to tell you how hard it was to adapt the new wheel to the existing cradle with stops in new positions.
The purpose of this new wheel was ... I hope you understand what I'm trying to describe ... is that for around the first third of depressing the pedal the linkages would travel less than with the original wheel thus reducing the hunting.
After that first third of travel the wheel and the linkages would return to their original relationship.
After installing the new wheel, the accelerator cable was shortened by approximately 1 inch or 25 mm.
It still hunts a little sometimes but it has improved by 90% from where I started.

I don't know if I'm right, but I put my problem down to the Morrison Injection really being for "racing" and not so much for street.

I don't know a lot about cars, but when I saw the Morrison cross ram injection, I liked the look and bought it.
I never thought it would be so much trouble to

make the distributor post
set up the crank trigger
because the crank trigger adjustment was on the right hand side of the motor I made the triangle bracket to take the alternator on the left hand side adapting the bolt points to the water pump.
I made a vacuum block and installed it near the firewall with pick ups under each runner, running back to the vacuum block. You can see the runners in one of the pictures.
Any one of this issues wouldn't have been a problem but it just seemed like it was one thing after another.
I don't think I would have had any where the same work if I had bought a regular 8 stack system.
