Master cylinders for Clutch and Brakes

When working on the the problem with the clutch slave cylinder, It was noted that the clutch and brakes were fed by one master cylinder. What set-ups are other Contemporary owners using or have? This does not seem to be a safe set-up. Does anyone have the same set-up in their contemporary? Has anyone changed it to a dual system, and if so what Brake and clutch master cylinders did you use to modify the system? (part numbers, mfg., etc.)

The single cylinder master has two pistons in it for front and rear on separate feeds. I believe they are 15/16" diameter on both.

Does that mean, if your slave cylinder leaks out there would be fluid in the master to operate the brakes? The build manual (1989) suggested 2 seperate and distinct master cylinders that operate the clutch and brake systems indpendently. PS, how didi your grand opening go?

If the front master cylinder seal is leaking it can leak by and into the rear cylinder, if the rear seal is leaking it will fill up and start to leak out of the boot over the end.
