Hi Doug and everyone else concerned,

Do you have one-way trailer hire companies that you could rent a trailer from in Michigan, load the car and parts onto it and then arrange a relay with different Cobra Club members to get it down to Texas?

If it could be arranged, one potential issue would be Doug having to entrust his car to a whole bunch of guys he doesn't know from across the country whilst it is en route to Texas.
