Default Someone bought the pile of parts

I ran into Don 20 years ago when I built my first Contemporary. I like the Contemporary too much and took the plunge before I knew all this may have come from him. Soooo....I need a lot of parts to finish the project. Just like last time. Don't know why the frame was modified for thru-the-floor pedals (didn't find the needed pedals or master cylinders)...and the steering mounting and shafts are missing...but found a bracket on interior dash hoop.

The other frame is modified for a link system for the rear end.
The body is just getting started.
I'll throw in the rear end (with wilwood calipers),side pipes and headers, double 4 barrel intake, wiring harness, and one of the trannys, if someone wants to make me an offer. (that's all the parts for the second car that I found).

Default The Project hit a period of inactivity

My girlfriend financed part of the purchase... I did do a lot of work (or rework) on the almost finished kit; I'm almost at a point where I started from. But then I ended up spending a lot of time in WI. I just got her back to AZ (where the cars are) when we realized we needed more room if she was going to spend time in AZ. So now we're in the middle of moving to a house with a larger garage and room for her stuff.

Bottom line is I still have a near virgin body, frame, rear-end, wiring harness, and exhaust system in a storage unit, waiting for someone to make me an offer. It's weird that you asked about everything, as I was getting ready to try to sell it again. I hope you're interested.

I might be interested in the exhaust. I also have a new dash and a new set of gauges if anyone is interested.

The jag rear end is far from a Watts linkage set up....all the bearings and spacers are missing from the outboard hubs. center section seems ok with Wilwood calipers. The extra frame I have is setup for the Watts lingage.

Default Cobra bodies etc.

Can you email me at Michael4yah@msn.com with asking prices and more pics of the two bodies, frames and parts you have? If you have pics of the floors, side view and rear that would help a lot. Is there any information about what body mold these were taken off of? Early late , approx year? Are they exact copies of Contemporary Cobra bodies. Thanks. Michael

Hi Rick,
I had a big accident a few days ago a I may need a new body for my contemporary cobra. Not sure if the frame is still ok. Do you still have contemporary parts?

BTW, a Midstate's body is a close match (that's what I have).

Indeed Rick the Midstates or Shell Valley bodies even have the sloping trunk floor to accommodate the CCX frame.

Did Midstates splash their bodies off of a Contemporary?
