Contemporary Classic Motorcar History

Since i've purchased the car i've been told that it looked like a SMC (Southern Motor Coach) LA Exotic and now i've learned that it's actually a Contemporary Classic because of the stamped frame # CCX81145, which has something to do with it's production, and since i'm a stickler for detail it's history is important to me for the future, esp.as i pass the car along to my son. And since there is no way of contacting the previous owner this is the route i've decided to take in order to find out it's history.
Thanks mickmate, yes i read it, the 3 series was for the 427 and the 4 was for the Daytona.i sent Peter B. an e-mail.

Wow that was a long way around for CCX81145---1981-14th day- 5 may. No 3s or S's or dash 2's or 8 prefix just CCX81145.

I'm glad you were entertained Thor, I still don't believe this car was built in 1981 and there's alot of guessing going on.

Zoot48, if CCX81145 is the number then the chassis was made in 1981. That says nothing as to when the car put together which could have been much later.Or do you think the serial number was corrupted or a copy of a contemporary????
