Looks good, might want to get a smooth head bolt and countersink.
Then sand face a bit to blend in, will then be almost invisible.

Default AC Pedal Pads

Here is the AC pedal pad attached to the Jag rectangular pedal shown above. I used 10-32 Flat Head socket screws tapped into the Jag pedal thru the holes that normally accept the grommets. Top screw is tapped so it is just below the reinforcement bracket on the back. Kind of what Jeff was suggesting,
