Thumbs up The coupe is here!

Rich Lacy dropped it off a couple of days ago, and I am in the circling stage now, just walking around and around it try to decide where to start.

So far I am really impressed with the frame and body, Shell Valley does a wonderful job. I plan to start posting photos this weekend as the wife will be gone and I get 4 days to myself

The UPS guy and I going to be on a first name basis soon, between the Ebay items and parts from Summit I am sure he will have a rut worn into the road to my place.

This is going to be fun!

I am hoping maybe by fall, but I never know.

It depends on how wild I get with options.....

One great thing about building a coupe is no front fenders to lean over, working in the engine compartment is a breeze!

Thumbs up

Congratulations on buying a great kit, which drives as well as it looks !

We recently took our Shell Valley Daytona to France for the 24 hour LeMans. We covered just under a thousand miles of hard driving in some very hot tempretures. The car handled superb on the well maintained French roads, not to mention the reaction from everyone who saw it. It was great to drive around part of the race track, Forty years after the original Daytona won the GT class.

Our best moment was at a cruise at Arnage, where we stole the show and revved up in front of the crowds. Very loud and even the French police did not arrest us !

Have fun with your build.

Ian

Congratulations Scott!

If you innovate and keep the exhaust underneath, we might let you come back to the "street version" group...in exchange for free rides...maybe.
