Talking Good question...

Jason,

I know I'll be in town on the 16th, but I have to attend a wedding that day.

Maybe something on the 23rd?

Of course, if you guys meet without me on the 16th, you'll be on your own with the weather. Remember, I have a good track record. Seriously, if you meet on the 16th, just take plenty of pictures in my absence.

Any update on your car, Jason?

Keith

Keith,

We need you to save your weather luck for the DSCC Spring event.

My Cobra may be in the shop for a going over as soon as I figure out if my truck can tow it and a 3500 lb tag-along trailer. Tongue weight, not total weight, is my issue. If not, it may be time for a Chevy 2500HD with the Duramax Diesel and Allison transmission Drove one last week--great truck for pulling stumps or ripping buildings off their foundation.

Hey Mike,
The Duramax will pull stumps or what ever you need, but you better know where the closest station with diesel fuel is in the Atlanta burbs. I bought one last October, and I love it, but they just tore down the local BP where I was getting fuel You would think with the number of people with these and Powerstrokes on the road, they would open more stations with deisel. How is that tool shed coming along ?

Hey Dave,

Thanks for the input. I towed the trailer this weekend and the SVT Lightning was doing OK. Short wheel base is the issue. May need sway bar to make it work. RE: new truck---The dealers were not giving me what I wanted on trade so I will try to sell on my own or find a way to make it work. I would like an extended/crew cab though in the future. Look's like the Lightning is do-able, but I haven't towed next to any semis yet.

Tool shed is coming along--need to post update soon. Pretty much down to stonework/stucco and finish work.
