Default I am in the market . . .

I am looking for an ERA, blue, big block engine 427 or more, something built within the last few years. I can pay cash, don't want to wait the year or so (or pay the price) for a new build. Anyone have any leads for me?

Do they just put together ERAs and speculate on them? Or where did it come from? Why does it only have 800 miles? Me no understando.

YEAH!! It is a bit small though. Well, ok, 1:8.8 scale electric...but yes, I do take cash.

I don't really remember his reason for selling, but the car seemed to have all the right stuff.

Yes, but you're not even supposed to get on them for the first 500 miles so they don't glaze up and break in right. Who gets rid of a car like that one that fast?

Seems like a great deal. Has SB100. Someone in CA should snap it up now!

Two very nice cars. Thank you for the many quick replies. I am new to the site and am astonished at the wealth of available resources and information.

They are nice cars, but please don't buy one sight-unseen. I know some guys have had good luck in doing that, but I just don't recommend it. Especially if you're particularly tall/short/fat/long-legged, etc. Fitting in these cars is absolutely doable for all but the most physically challenged, but they have to be put together, or modified, with your body-shape in mind. I have sat in ERAs that were built for short guys and I swear I felt like I was sitting in one of the little clown cars at a circus. I had mine custom built for me and it fits me like a glove.

So that just leaves the average-physical body types who are mentally-challenged as potential ERA owners?

(that doesn't include ERAChas, tbk289 or RickLake or course).

Almost every Cobra owner I have ever met I would deem to be "mentally unbalanced." Whether that condition led to the decision to buy a Cobra in the first place is unclear.

Seems like there is no shortage of low miles cars for sale out there.
My theory is that people build the high power car of their dreams, get in the car and promptly scare the s**t out of themselves and or the wife.
Next FSBO.

MrMustang is selling a green one (but he is capable of painting it whatever color you want).

Then it's the mentally balanced people who sell their Cobras?

Dallas has two excellent recent builds that he can do his due-diligence on. Both appear to be excellent examples of ERA's.

Bill's ERA is not a recent build and the OP has stated that he would prefer a recent ERA build, but Bill does have that Tunnelport 427 in his car.

No, and I'm a perfect example.

EDIT -- In fact, come to think of it, I'm the only normal person I know.
