Nut behind clutch fork?

Heard a "clunk" under the car yesterday while driving. Last time that happened, the bolt for one of the trailing arms fell off. This time I can only find one possibly missing nut and that is if there is a nut at the end of the clutch slave cylinder rod behind the clutch fork?
And if there is, how much should be tightened?

O', I replied to your PM. I don't think that missing nut would make a clunk noise.

There should be a jam nut behind the ball-link, but it's almost impossible to lose without a total discombobulation of the assembly.

By clunking sound, I meant the kind of sound you would hear if you were to run over something in the street. Something of metal that would bounce up and hit the car underneath. And last time it happened, it turned out to be a bolt that fell off my car. Consequently, I made that assumption this time.
As for "total discombobulation," the car runs fine.
But when you hear a sound as if you drove over something, and there is nothing in the road that you can see, you want to make sure. . .
And the only thing I can find is the nut at the end of the rod as explained before.
All my bolts are color-marked, if that is the right term, that is, a little red paint on the bolt and the background, so you can easily tell if any of them move.
Except the one possibility (above).

It was probably just a rock -- but I understand completely. Take your car out to a big open parking lot (where there's nothing to hit) and toss it around hard. If there's anything loose, you'll find it.
