Good choice then. I'm not aware of a significant advantage of powder coat over wet spray in an application like a chassis.

Great progress. Any other frame modifications besides what you did for the transmission mount?
What kind of exhaust setup are you going with?

I love the goldish-brown patina an unpolished stainless exhaust achieves over time.....'course I'm making an assumption that you aren't polishing or coating it...
As an example, here's an unpolished stainless exhaust I had on my Elise for a period of time.. The first photo is when it was new, and the second is after it was run in.

Exhaust completed, will keep the brush finish. The ball and socket joint is a nice product from Jegs. Easy to quickly attach and remove pipes. Also allows for some adjustability. |

That's a great option. Nice work! I like that you integrated a sidepipe & muffler combo! Cut out a few DBs & still have the look & sidepipe feel/sound. Bet it will sound awesome!

Great design and very nice fabrication!
It looks like you had to take several inches off the header collector to allow for the ball & socket joint and to get the pipes to tuck up underneath the car.
Please post a few more photos when you have it all installed. How much room between the top of the pipes / muffler and the bottom of the car?

Yes, I agree with Tim. Nice looking now and can only get better with that natural golden brown aging.
What is the ground clearance?

Essentially yes … Wolf has a great setup set up here. Basically an under car exhaust, but that exits before the rear tire. Very functional and looks great! |

They are ERA's standard seat for the FIA. Went for them to get me as low as possible. They are fiberglass bucket, foam cushion.
