Bob, what is the easiest way to tighten the hand brake cable. The lever (inside the car) comes all the way and the brake engage very little. I believe the adjustment is made above the jag rear end but how to you gain access?
In general, when the EB "needs adjustment", it's not a cable problem unless it never worked to begin with. The system is self-adjusting, but it's not unusual for rebuilders to forget that the mechanism may need maintenance after 30 or so years. I have a breakdown of the system somewhere...
