There was some confusion/miscommunication between big b, ERA and myself. I was in contact with big b and they agreed to do the work. Back in Nov big b was supposed to pick up the car and begin work. I was informed it would be aroung 6 months before it would be finished. I agreed and assumed things were moving forward. Fast forward 6 months later and i lose all contact with big b. I was in contact with another member who was also having their car painted at big b. He also lost contact with big b and recommended i contact ERA. I contacted Peter and informed him about my issue and learned that my car had never been picked up. After talking with Peter i decided to go ahead and have the car shipped unpainted and i will source that after i get it.

I have not spoke to big b since nov when the vehicle was supposed to be picked up. My understanding is big b is no longer taking in work. i have no hard feelings, i lost comminication and just wanted to move forward. Its honestly probably for the best, i am trying to get a specific look and being able to see the fenders in person will make it easier foe myself and the bodyshop.

Wow, what a mess. Is the guy still in business? It's inexcusable for a guy to agree to a job, say he's going to pick up the car, then not do so and drop off the face of the Earth with no further comm. Hopefully ERA drops them from their group of suggested vendors. Sorry to see you've gone through that and wasted all that time. No doubt it'll turn out great in the end, and you probably dodged a bullet there. Enjoy the car and congrats, she's a beauty.

I dont know big b's situation so i dont want to place blame. The car is at ERA getting ready to ship so no harm no foul. Super excited and cant wait to get the car in the garage.

Hoping to get the shipping call in the next couple of weeks. Got some pictures last week of the car and some parts in boxes, getting close. This is the hardest part of the build so far, the knowing its almost in my garage.

Hope you get the good news soon! Seems like parts chain issues will never be as good as pre-COVID. I hope my call comes soon after yours!

Very nice. And that engine will drop right in there in about twenty minutes.
