Now that I think about it, Craig may have made to make a spacer for the pulley. I am sure if he sees this he will comment.

Thanks for the info! I take it that the pulley and fan from that site are not the correct ones?

The alternator pulley on Kevin's car required a bit of work to get everything fitting, I had to squeeze every bit of clearance I could to pull the alternator back towards the engine block.
Both the water pump and crank pulleys need to be spaced accordingly to the alternator pulley.

It all worked out great on Kevin's car with enough clearance on the shock tower etc.
