Folks:
Every time I have made the pilgrimage to New Britain over the past 20 years, upon my return home I am debriefed by my executive committee to whom I report; my spouse, mother and mother in law. Of the three, the last to meet Peter was my mother (a/k/a THE QUEEN MOTHER).
My Mother (born some 86 years ago in North Georgia and despite spending the last 60 plus residing in New York, still retains a strong southern drawl) finally met Peter this past year when I drove her up to Connecticut to see a friend of hers now residing Farmington. As we drove out of the shop gates and down Dewey Street after a short tour of the shop, she said "Well, I can certainly see why you all have so much fun together... but frankly if I were married to that man, I'd take sheep shears to him."
