Hi D Ford,

I am in the process of building my harness and noticed the same situation with the headlight switch. In research I have heard that the common problem is the switch falling apart. If I wiggle my switch it seems to work. I was planning on trying to open the switch to see if there is another way of fixing them. I believe that it has to do with the poor crimp from metal to plastic.

All the other switches do not have the look and feel to the lucas switch.
