I notice in the diagram the reverse arm part # 19 is shown in the up position. Mine came from ERA installed with the arm upside down with the linkage hole in the down position. which is correct ?

Yes. We reverse the arm to retain the original location of reverse.

P.S. The above only pertains to the 427. The 289FIA retains the other configuration to match the original Borg-Warner pattern.

Question for Bob, does this look right? Everything is in neutral and reverse is rotated toward the front.
