That's gorgeous. And I particularly like the padding on the roll bar.

Thanks! As you know, yours was an inspiration. BTW, how did the colors compare in person??

The color was very close especially with my paint job being about 25 years old. From 20 feet away it looked exactly the same. It was cool seeing your car in person after discussing it here on this thread.

looks great
Doug is the best...last time I was there he was doing a final shake down run on a car going overseas and asked if I'd go for a ride...he didn't have to ask twice

Doug's workmanship is magnificent! Not only is his work the highest quality, it also is the most thoughtful. I was pretty much speechless as he took me over the car, pointing out all the details and the decisions he made to get the optimum result. I wouldn't change a thing: the finished car has met or exceeded all of my hopes. For me it is the perfect Cobra.

Oil filter bracket question

Got a question....do you recall what the brand of the remote oil filter bracket is? And what is the 'switch' on the top of the bracket? And do you have a thermostat in the line?
Cheers,
Glen

The switch regulates flow to the oil cooler. You don't really need the oil cooler under street conditions and shutting off the oil flow raises the heat in the engine. No thermostat in the oil line, I just make adjustments depending on how hot it is outside.
Here is a link to the manufacturer:
Beaumont Metal Works, Manufacturer of Industrial belt grinders and finishing equipment
Fair warning: it's not cheap and plumbing it to his satisfaction was one of Doug's biggest challenges. Looks really cool though!
